Save the date

I would eliminate the calendar at the bottom, it’s unnecessary space. I think it will look cleaner and nicer without.

This is what I did for our save the dates. I made it in canva. In the blank circle, I'm going to put a picture of us from our engagement session. Hope this helps!!

What is it that you don’t like specifically? I love the look of topographic invitations. I went with a very similar design that I made on Zazzle.

I agree with others that the calendar seems out of place. If you space things out a bit more it'll help balance the whole thing. You can also play around with the size of different lines because that'll give different vibes as well!

I'd say if you keep the calendar like he likes, then I'd omit the actual spelled out date. Maybe try moving the calendar up, and putting "Formal invite..." and the location after? Where you have it now it seems like it was an afterthought thrown in, which is part of why it doesn't seem to fit.
