Save the dates and invites

Darylese, on June 19, 2019 at 9:48 PM Posted in Planning 1 6
Is it really necessary to send out save the dates? If so, when should I send them? I was thinking about just sending invites a few months before the wedding. My wedding is June 20, 2020. Advice please! 😬

Not necessary but suggested if you have a lot of out of town guest. A few months before won’t be helpful. I say 6 to 8 months is the best time frame.

I'm sending them out. Just because I'm excitedSmiley smile I'm also a June 2020 bride. I'm sending mine out August or September.

I am going to send it because I have family outside of the city. However I want to save money so I am doing it electronically.

I'm defintely sending them because my wedding date is on a national holiday. (July 4, 2020). If you don't have any guests that need advance notice to make travel plans, I wouldn't worry about it.

They aren't necessary but I think they're cute. We do have guests who are coming from FL and OH (We are in NJ).

I think it's nice, but not required. If you have a lot of out of town guests, I would. I'd send them 6-12 months out.
