Save the dates got lost in the mail

Nicole, on December 28, 2022 at 10:41 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
So it seems like my save the dates got lost in the mail. We sent them out November 21,2022. Only like 10 out of 151 households have received our save the dates. It’s stressing me out. So I have decided to put a website card in with the invitations so that way everyone can have access and see all the accommodations we have. I am so worried people won’t come to our wedding/ people won’t receive our invitations. Has anyone else had this problem???

I've never heard of anyone having this problem. I am so sorry! Is it possible to contact those who didn't get the invite. Send them an electronic invite and the wedding website. When is your cut off for final head count?

Wow I really didn't read save the date and read invitations. 😂

Honestly text/email those you can, the link to the website and let them know they were lost in the mail. Although I do wonder how over 100 invitations got lost. L

That's annoying for sure! Maybe they got tangled up with all the holiday mail? If you have a digital image of the save the dates, you could text/ email that out to people along with a link to your website and let them know the original save the dates got lost in the mail. If it's any consolation, most people don't book their accommodations until invitations go out anyways.

That’s really odd that a small portion of your guests received and most did not. Even with the holidays, they should’ve gotten there by now.
I did not have this problem.
Definitely email and text the save the dates.

Thank you for all the advice & support!! We have planned to send website cards with the invitations. I don’t have everyone’s numbers. It would be very hard to text or email everyone but I can definitely try to. I was going to wait to speak with my wedding planner next week and see her point of view.
