  I would just do invites 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding. At this point it's too close to the wedding to send save the dates.

  With this short notice, save the dates are not necessary. People typically send out wedding invitations 6-8 weeks out; so I would just go straight to invitations.

  Contact your VIPs in person or over the phone immediately. Then send out invitations at the standard 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
