Save the dates

8/14/2020 bride!

I'm not sure when to send these out. It's on a Friday and its during the summer, I want to make sure people have time to get the day off. We only have a hand full coming from out of state. I'm not sure if it should be before or after the holidays??

Typically 5-6 months. I would wait or it will get lost in the holiday hullabaloo. My wedding is in June and we are sending ours in November only because ours is a destination and we want to give time for people to have time with traveling.

We sent ours out 10 months in advance with a small business card sized insert with our main hotel block on it. We had more than 50% (100+ people) from out of state, our wedding was during wedding season, and we are of age where all our friends are engaged/pregnant/etc. so we knew people needed a heads up.

I'd send them out now (or at least earlier in November to avoid the holiday mail insanity) considering the wedding is on a Friday. People will need a little more notice if they need to take off work.
