Congrats to another October bride! It’s crazy because we postponed from October 2020 to 10/30/21. But I’ve had our “change the date” cards since August and still haven’t sent them. 😆

View Quoted Comment Yep!!! We were originally 10/10/20. So when we postponed, we went with another fun date. But I haven’t mailed anything yet because it’s already feeling like a déjà vu repeat of last February when I mailed our STDs. So now, I’m about 60% set on scrapping our plans, scaling the list down from 60 to 15 people and inviting them to Hawaii for an intimate wedding and a fun luau reception (FH proposed in Hawaii, so it would be meaningful). Then we’ll have a 1 year anniversary celebration and vow renewal with our original guest list. But we’ll decide by March and we’re just rolling with it. Despite it all, I haven’t been sad or stressed and still very excited to stand across from my FH exchanging vows. 🥰 Best wishes!!!!

View Quoted Comment Yes! It will certainly all work out. Nope, not a Halloween theme. When we changed the date, all plans remained the same. The only “halloween-ish” addition is to place a few white pumpkins/mini white pumpkins in a few areas. But we do plan to have themed costume parties for every other anniversary celebration (since we were big on hosting a few parties each year.... before covid🤬). We’re currently having a destination wedding in Vegas. So, it would shift to a destination wedding in Hawaii and require much less of a to do list. So, it’s very tempting 🤔 😄
