Save the dates

We are getting married 4/9/22 out of town, everyone on the guest list will have to travel. We have the wedding coordinator and venue booked. I sent out Save the Date cards today to those I know for sure will be there and will continue to add more and send those later.

We're getting married in May 2022, and just sent ours out. If you have your venue and guest list set, earlier is better in my opinion.

It’s recommended that you send out save the dates 6-12 months in advance, however I personally would send them out no earlier than 9 months prior to the wedding, because there are going to be tons of weddings that we postponed due to the pandemic. With this being said, since your wedding is in October 2022, I think that your timeline of sending them out in January is perfect.
