Not tacky! Are you planning to hand deliver their invitations as well? Honestly in some cultures, it's the norm to hand deliver wedding invitations so you do you girlfriend! It's also kind of a nice personal touch to be able to deliver in person

My fiance and I are doing that for the local people, it will save money on the poatage too.

Nope, not tacky at all. We are sending out save the dates around December/January. Well we see most of our family at Christmas so we are going to of course hand deliver at Thanksgiving, Christmas and any other time we see people lol. Trying to save on postage
