I personally haven't but I read reviews and honestly overlooked ones that didn't have any reviews at all.

I have read the reviews but I want to personally talk to someone who had uses the vender

You can talk to them and ask for personal references. Do they have a facebook page? (they probably do if they are reputable ) You can read reviews from real people's Facebook pages to see what they have to say, they are 99% likely real Facebook accounts.

Try the vendor tab on here and look for what @catlady said.

Haven't seeked out a vendor off website.

I ran into a vendor that I didn't trust. They weren't willing to take a down payment to reserve my date. They wanted the full $5000 upfront and wouldn't accept credit cards. I felt uneasy about the transaction and picked a different vendor

I searched for a facebook site couldn't find one there website was full of random pictures there reviews were with in 2 weeks of each other they wasn't from my area plus I couldn't find anyone who has used there service to contact and see of it was legit

Just to reassure you about our reviews, any reviews written on WW are from real couples who can prove that they worked with that vendor, vendors cannot write their own reviews, and vendors cannot have negative reviews removed just because they don't like them. Not every vendor has a Facebook page.

It doesn't surprise me that reviews for a vendor would be within a couple of weeks of each other since it's prime wedding season.

You probably won't be able to find the contact information of people that used a service just by using Google. You would need to contact the vendor and ask for references.

If they ask for all money up front, think twice.

If they don't have a contract for you to sign to reserve them, think twice.

We have hired 3 vendors off ww and all are from the city about 45 minutes to an hour away. Try calling and talking don't book through any apps most vendors will meet you in person to talk before booking.

Not every vendor has a FB page, and not all of us who do monitor them for messages, etc.

It's wedding season; it makes sense that there would be more reviews now.....I got two in the last three days. Reviews here are vetted pretty strenuously.

Ask your other vendors and venue if they know the vendor you have in mind. I'm always delighted to mouth off about my favorite vendors.

Then call, skype, FT, do your research.

And get a contract. For sure.

No, but I have signed up on certain pages and then have been getting calls from states nowhere near where I live.

I told one of the ladies, why on Earth would I go with a Baltimore vendor when I live in Nevada. Really?? Um, no.

Couples come here from all over the world for me to marry them. Just because you're having a destination wedding doesn't mean you'll run into more scammers than having a local wedding.

On the other hand, a 'bride' said she found me on Wedding Wire and she was a scammer! No, I didn't fall for it.

YES. Genesa Richards Photography in Seattle, WA who did a wedding in our family and has failed to provide ANY pictures months after the contracted date, after being paid, and completely stopped ignoring all attempts to contact her to ask for the product! I The only reason I found this site was because we're looking for other couples that were scammed by her and finding there were many. Is there a way to report vendors that scam their clients on here??
