Searching for a Wedding Planner/organizer

Kaitlyn, on November 16, 2022 at 1:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 9
I’m searching for a wedding planner/organizer notebook. There’s so many options on Amazon, I’m not sure what to choose. I definitely want one that includes a timeline. What has everyone else used? Any recommendations?

One of my friends had gifted me a wedding planning binder created by The Knot! It covered all the details and had places for me to write in notes, keep all vendor contact info in one place, keep track of ideas/options, etc. This is what it looked like:

That's the one I had as well. My mom gave it to me when I got engaged. I really liked it.

Honestly your best bet is to make your own via a blank 3 ring binder from Target and clear pockets to store contracts/business cards/fabric swatches/etc. GoogleSheets has a free 10+ page wedding planning template that can be accessed from any device and printed out to put in the binder. Most articles in the published books are available free online and not all of them apply to every couple.

For non traditional couples, an awesome book to read is Offbeat Bride by Ariel Meadow Stallings because the website of the same name has downsized.

This is what I did! Anything you buy you’ll have to supplement with your own contracts and quotes. It’s cheaper and more efficient to just do your own from the get go.

I know ou’re searching for advice on notebooks and planners but I will just share that I used a google sheet. It was shared with my fiancé. I had different tabs like:

To do list, table assignments, day of time line, rehearsal dinner guest list and rsvps, vendor contact info, wedding guest list and rsvps, florist info and items, guest addresses, rentals, ceremony order, bridal shower gifts for thank you notes, honeymoon info, wedding gifts and thank you notes.

For the to do list I got a free checklist from a website and used that as a baseline. I also added a ton of other stuff as things came up.

    Good luck!
