Seat Assignments - Necessary or Not?

Definitely doing a seating chart! I don’t want any wasted time on our guests having to find where they seat. There always that awkward person/couple that’ll be last and looking around to find the last seats. I think it’s way more organized as well.

If you're having just cake and coffee or passed appetizers, then no seating arrangement is necessary. If people are sitting down to eat a meal, then yes you need one. Otherwise, couples and families always get split up.

Before I joined WW I always said no, but after reading some and really thinking about some of the wedding that I have been to I am thinking yes! I remember a few weddings that I have been to where I was kind of the odd man out and had to sit at the singles table with people I didn't know. So I think that we are planning on doing one.

YES. I was a bridesmaid for a large wedding with no assigned seats. By the time we arrived after taking bridal party photos, the only seat I could find was at a random table of extended family where I didn't know anyone. SO AWKWARD
