Seating Arangements with divorced parents

Gilly, on August 20, 2024 at 5:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
Both my partners and my parents are divorced, his mom remarried and my dad remarried. I’ve read a lot of great suggestions on seating divorced parents. But I am trying to figure out how to seat siblings. I have 4 siblings and only myself and one other talk to my mom. I am not sure where to put my siblings without causing a rift or frankly a family war. For my partner he has one sister, and I know where to seat her but the father is the one I’m concerned about even if I seat him on the other side of the room. Any advice? Also for some context my parents hate each other- like with a passion

Are any of your siblings in the bridal party? And will you have a sweetheart table? If not, you and your fiancé can sit with the bridal party, then each of the pairs of parents can have a different table with the corresponding uncles/aunts/grandparents.

My siblings aren’t in the bridal or grooms party. They most likely will want to sit with my dad. I am concerned that putting them their will make my bio mom cry- but also that’s not my fault they don’t speak with her.

That’s a great idea and i appreciate it

Can all of your siblings sit together then have parents sit with either their siblings or friends?
