Seating arrangement ideas?

I’m having a pretty small wedding, about 30, and am trying to figure out seating ideas. Since it’s pretty small I feel like tables spread apart with a small table for the bride/groom might be weird? I’ve looked at some ideas and a common theme is a long table with the bride and groom in the middle by I worry about my dress possibly getting something spilled on it or stepped on in close quarters like that. Any ideas?

For our minimony we had 35 guests. We had a sweetheart table for my husband and I and about 8 tables spread out for our guests. Obviously this was during Covid but it looked completely fine!

My set up was similar to Yasmine’s. I had a small wedding (about 20 people), and we had a sweetheart table for me and my husband and 5 round tables seating 4 people each spread out for our guests, and it looked fine.

If you do a long table you and your fiancé could sit at the head of the table.
