We are having a small sit down dinner for our (COVID) downsized wedding which means we will have 38 people seated across 3 tables. Due to how small our guest list is (we downsized from 160!) we will most definitely be having place cards because we are strategically sitting people together based on personalities and who we know will get along with who.
As we are having place cards at the tables, I feel like it may be a bit unnecessary to have a seating chart as well, though I do not want to have to make all our guests walk around each of the tables (albeit only 3 of them) to find where they are situated.
Thoughts - should we have a seating chart in addition to place cards or just leave it? If we do have a seating chart, it will be on the same poster as our welcome sign.
