Seating Chart Wedding Easel

Anonymous, on May 24, 2012 at 1:13 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Does anyone know how to create a seating chart for the wedding easel? I am planning on having an easel at the wedding instead of place cards.

I'm doing something similar (a table map, due to the fact that our tables aren't numbered and will be more difficult to find) using a mat board as the back, then I'm cutting out circles that represent the tables and gluing them on. I will embellish it a little with some cute wedding stickers and bows and such.

P.S. you have four stars now...time to change that default icon to something we can recognize. =)

Kinda...I have designed them before and had them printed at Kinkos on large poster board. I think it may be easier to order though. There are several vendors that do them.

This one you could possibly do yourself...it's from a WW thread.

Did you want just a big poster listing everyone and their table? I think Hayley has an example of that...

At my friend's wedding, they had place cards on a cork board on an easel, I've also seen them hanging on a string on a frame, held up by tiny clothes pins.

I'm sure there will other ideas for you!

Huh, guess I took too long to type.

I found a big frame at Michaels super discounted for $20. We only had 8 tables so I did it by table, but you could do it by last name as well:
