Seating chart/place cards/etc. for farm tables

Jessica, on July 27, 2017 at 2:08 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4

We're using farm tables lined up end-to-end with assigned seating. If I have place cards on each setting, can I just use an alphabetical seating chart up front to direct folks to their table instead of escort cards? I'm not sure what the best combo is. Or should I ditch assigned seating and only assign tables? I keep going back and forth in my mind and am having a hard time finding examples for non-round tables.

How many people per table? how many people are invited?

Assigned table. I'd be pissed if you told me I had to sit in one place...

Ella - 8 per table, about 100 total.

Fall Bride - that's what I was afraid of! We'll have rows that are about 4 tables each. Thank you for sharing that it worked for your cousin.

I normally would agree that assigned seating is a bit much, but with this set up it's what I'm leaning towards to keep groups together.
