Second time- feeling down

Hey all, first time poster. Second time bride. Just feeling really down today and I remembered these kinds of forms sometimes can be a blessing for venting when you’ve overrun Facebook already lol Feeling really down today. This is my second marriage. An additional go round for my fiancé as well....
Hey all, first time poster. Second time bride. Just feeling really down today and I remembered these kinds of forms sometimes can be a blessing for venting when you’ve overrun Facebook already lol

Feeling really down today. This is my second marriage. An additional go round for my fiancé as well. Neither of us had traditional weddings the first go rounds. As badly as we want a celebration with family and friends this time we are both feeling budgetary constraints. Being 30 something parents really puts a damper as to what we can spend and I’m feeling a little sad.

Doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to get a photographer which was really important to me. Our budget is about $1,000. If I hadn’t eloped the first time around I’d honestly rather do the courthouse thing but it feels so cheesy. Just venting thanks for listening ❤️

    Our photographer wanted to build her portfolio. She was listed under engagement photos , but specialized in New born and kids photos.
    We got a great deal and she is fantastic! She gave us a package deal so we got to see her work beforehand with our engagement photos. Look for a photographer on thumtack , you may be surprised who's willing to work with youSmiley smile just search photographer and not wedding photography.

    I completely understand! My FH and I are older, this is the second time around for both of us. My parents keep saying the word "again" things like well I guess I will walk you down the aisle "again", or we aren't paying for such and such "again" It really sucks and yet they keep saying they are happy for me. It is totally confusing. That was my "mini-rant"

    Anyways we are doing everything on a super tight budget as well, my sister offered to take our pictures, a team of girlfriends offered to "cater" the wedding and we opted to have a Brunch wedding to keep cost down. There are plenty of ways to be creative and cut corners. Good luck with everything and congratulations!
