Everyone that I know that has gone to Maroma Beach has such good things to say about the resort! Just based on what I've heard, I'd say that one might be the best (but I've never physically been there). My cousin also went to one of the ones in Jamaica and loved it, but didn't rave about is as much as the people that went to Maroma. FH and I opted to book Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun simply because it was only $3078 including airfare for 7 days and 6 nights.

    Edited: I can't type today.

We're staying at Secrets Silversands in Riviera Maya for our honeymoon! We've never been there but I'll let you know when we get back Smiley smile It has good reviews, and we picked that one over nearby Secrets because of the number of restaurants and bars (we love to wine and dine)

I was looking at Secrets the Vine....I also debated the Silversands as well!! Let me know how it is! I have also heard Maroma is the best, but also very much out of my price range!

A friend of mine is a member of their vacation club and Maroma Beach is hands down her favorite (she has been to several Secrets properties). She just had her wedding there and said it was amazing. They spent part of their honeymoon at Silversands and said it was a little more of a party resort, but still gorgeous and fun. Secrets the Vine is supposed to be top notch as well - the people I know who have vacationed there loved it. Basically....you can't go wrong. lol

I've been to several. Never to maroma tho, never heard anything bad about it. Secrets tells vine is nice, however it is in the middle of the street but the back of the property is an oasis. My favorite to date is secrets st James/wild orchid in Montego Bay Jamaica. They are all 4 plus star resorts and keep their properties in tip top shape. It depends on really what you are looking for. I highly suggest using trip advisor of reviews of the resorts and to eliminate things you aren't looking for! Eta: I've also been to secrets Capri and I loved it as well.

I've stayed at the Secrets Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and it was awesome! The beaches and ocean aren't as nice as the Gulf side of Mexico, but the resort was amazing! All of the rooms have a view of the ocean, it was extremely clean, and the resort is only a few years old. The food there is awesome, they don't require you to wear bracelets for the all inclusive, and you don't have to make reservations at the restaurants there. This Secrets is adult only and is apart of Now Amber which is the family side of the resort. As a guest at Secrets you have access to both sides of the resort including the cafe, the snack bar, the pools, and all of the restaurants. They also have top notch entertainment daily including talented fire dancers, comedians, and outdoor movie nights. It depends what you are looking for of course, but we loved our time there so much that we have also decided to have our wedding there! We are sooo excited to return!

They are all wonderful from what I have heard. We stayed at silver sands for our honeymoon and then their sister company in Costa Rica. We are hooked with amresorts and will always stay with them!

@Lauren I'm glad to hear that about Silversands!! FH and I might be weird in that we are looking for more of a fun honeymoon and less of a romantic/relaxing honeymoon lol.

We booked at Secrets Capri and are going in November - they had the best deal when we booked, so I am hoping it turns out nice!

That's a tough question!! Secrets Maroma sits on one of the best beaches in the world. Secrets Capri is a great little hotel and tends to be affordable. Secrets Silversand tends to draw more of a party crowd. I stayed at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos last December and loved it! But the beach was closed every day that we were there.

Each Secrets Resort has a different vibe. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance to you!

We just got back from our honeymoon in Punta Cana. We stayed at Secrets Royal Beach. It was absolutely gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better vacation. Secrets Royal Beach is connected to Now Larimar. Secrets guests can use that side as well. There were quite a few restaurants on that side we tried but we stayed on the Secrets side most of the time because of the kids. Our room was beautiful, pool was big, beach was gorgeous, and food was great!! I highly recommend Royal Beach!!! An employee actually talked to us about the different ones and said Maroma is very nice. We definitely want to go to another Secrets since we liked it so much. They are building another one in Punta Cana opening November 2016.
