Seeing each other the day of the wedding

What is more recommendable these days? To see the groom before the wedding? Or not to se each other until I walk the aisle?

We won't be doing a first look but will be seeing each other the day of until we separate to get dressed. Once dressed, we won't see each other until the ceremony.

Apparently, the “first look” is a trend. I was under the impression that you aren’t supposed to see each other (to keep from changing your mind at the last minute”.

I think this is personal preference. It didn't really matter to me either way, however FH was not a fan of the first look, and wanted to see me for the first time at the end of the aisle. He's been a traditionalist with the wedding planning, lol

I think what ever you decide for you day is good Smiley smile

I'm a bit superstitious and have notoriously bad luck, so the last thing I need is to invoke the bad luck from my FH seeing the bride before the wedding. However, we do live together so we're going to at least see each other that morning most likely. Unless we get decent to leave the house with our eyes closed haha. I'm being super careful that he doesnt see anything about how I'm getting ready that day though.
