Self tanning

Ashley, on April 27, 2020 at 8:49 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 7
Now that my wedding is being postponed, I have time to try out some self tanners! I have never done this before and I am VERY pale but I figured since I can’t leave my house anyway, now is the time to experiment! Does anyone have any recommendations on what self tanner I should use?

I've used Skinerals several times and I love it. I would recommend using an application mitt to get the best coverage. I ordered a set from Amazon that included an exfoliating glove, application mitt, and facial applicator. I just ordered Fake Bake because it was on sale, so I'll update once I receive it!

Florida girl, here! Most of the time, I "fake bake" so that I can wear heavy spf outside-- I have a fair complexion, light eyes, all that jazz, so I don't want to burn. Loving Tan Express 2 Hour, and TanCeuticals are my favorites for high-end tanner! I also really like the Jergens Natural Glow line... but I'd use their wet moisturizer and then layer the regular one over top. You can get it from Target/Amazon.

Loving Tan is my all time fav! Took me forever to try it because of the price tag but I’m so glad I finally did because it’s the only self tan that actually makes me bronze not orangey. I use the 2 hr express in dark but I keep it on for 8 hours, and I use the gradual tan every other night. Works like a charm!

I agree with Allie. Loving Tan is definitely my fav! I've been using it for a while and it always comes out amazing.

I also agree that Loving Tan is well worth the money! I find it the easiest to apply and it looks the most natural

I'm also very pale and had the same thought about practicing at home during all this! YouTube has definitely helped me get a really good process down (as to when to exfoliate and what to expect from certain brands), if there is a brand that you are interested in I would would for sure check out a video by someone who uses it all the time Smiley smile
