Selfie station at my reception

So I want to do a DIY selfie station at my reception as opposed to renting a photo booth. Does anyone have any ideas on props, and backgrounds I can use, and where to get it all? Thanks everyone!

We had two selfie sticks from Target, a vase with emoji photo props from Etsy and a sign with our hashtag. A lot of people used it, and the photos turned out really cute!

There are also cheap props on wish.com and etsy. I have also seen photobooth prop printables online, but the ones I got on wish.com were like $3 including s/h so it just seemed easier.

I can't find a photo booth in my area for less than $450 for two hours. I was thinking about doing something like this, so I love all the ideas people offered. Getting selfie sticks hadn't even occurred to me yet!

Check out groupon! I have seen some killer deals on photobooth rentals.

Target has selfie sticks for $5 in the dollar section. The nice thing about their selfie sticks is the fact that they plug into the head phone jack of the phone. The stick doesn't have to be paired via Bluetooth and does not have to be charged because it uses the phone's power.

You can buy props on amazon, and provide selfie sticks for the most popular phone models.

Also, for the backdrop you can use a glittery fabric draped on a PVC structure.

I think the Polaroid shaped frames are super cute. They could hold it or you could hang it up. You can put your new name and date on it or wedding hashtag? Hanging it would be better with props but I even like the frame without props. Smiley smile

Yes! We did this. We rented a $50 black back drop from the venue and put chairs in front of it. We had a table and had hats and sun glasses and all sorts of props. We did buy one prop kit of signs and mustaches off of amazon. Everyone just took photos on their phone and it was cute.

How are you printing or saving the photos if you're not renting a photobooth??
