Selfie Station vs Photobooth

We're doing a photo wall. It was included with our photography package. So basically a photo booth but professional quality photos instead. I liked that idea better rather than selfies I'll have to search all of social media for.

We were gonna do polaroids at the selfie station.

We're actually making our own selfie station with a backdrop... this is our inspiration

For a selfie station would you have selfie sticks to get the background? Really curious because we were going over ideas for some kind of photo booth I never thought of a selfie station!

So just a thought because Ive never heard this mentioned before (but it could just be my weird self) .. I went to a wedding with just a background on the wall. It was totally open and the photographers were using their cameras and guests cell phones to take pictures. However, I just kind of thought it was a little awkward because it was out in the open. I like the privacy of the photobooth if that makes any sense ..? Ha

We're doing photobooth...bc we have enough things to DIY lol. I got a decent deal... $800 for 6hrs in NYC

I'm doing the photo booth. I got a good price through our photographer and I don't want to worry about creating a selfie station

I personally like the photo booth! Our photographer gave us a discount on a package if we booked her for the wedding and got a photo booth. I think photo booths are always fun, and you get some great pictures!

And it's nice that guests get to take a copy and you get to keep a copy!

We went to a wedding where it was a wall and a camera set up with a push button to take photos. So us, the guest grabbed the button and posed and snapped all the photos we wanted. I believe we could fit like 20 people in the photos too. That was ALOT of fun. We all just kept taking a million photos! That is kinda like a selfie station
