Send-off Idea: Bobo Balloons, Ribbon Wands, & Fairy Lights

I am so excited for our send-off! These turned out way better than I had expected! Our venue doesn’t allow sparklers and I wanted to do something that didn’t need any clean up. LED wand and glow sticks came to mind, but I like these so much more and they’re cheaper than the LED ribbon wands I found online! I would have wanted an LED balloon release, but it’s apparently really bad for the environment.


I’m making about 30 of these 18” bobo balloons wrapped in 10 ft fairy lights and 70 of these ribbons wands with 7 ft fairy lights threaded through clear balloon sticks. I haven’t attached the ribbons and the jingle bells on this pic, but the wands will also have a 4 20” strips of satin ribbon and 2 1/2-inch jingle bells at the top.
