Send off

Monique, on July 3, 2019 at 11:15 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 7
I wanted thoughts on the send off at the end of the reception. We are doing a lightsaber send off. I am wondering if I should buy 120 lightsabers total for all guests or plan for the people who might leave early.I was also thinking maybe just for the bridal party. I’m not sure though because I am not sure if everyone participates or not.

120 seems like it might be chaos. How big is your wedding party? I would probably just buy enough for them.

Light sabers sound awesome. 120 light sabers also sounds expensive to buy

    Hi Monique!

This is such an awesome idea Smiley smile

How many lightsabers do you think you would need to create the perfect arch of lights for y’all to walk through? Maybe just order enough for the number of people you want to participate?

Below is a pic I took from Pinterest!

There are about 30 - 40 lightsabers in it!

Do you think applying this logic would work for your send off?

I do thank you! Do you think some people might not be happy to not participate?

I think this would totally depend on your friends and family. Personally, if I was a guest and there wasn't enough, I wouldn't mind. They can still stand among the folks who have them and be part of the exit Smiley smile

A friend of mine got married a few weeks ago and had the bridal party make a lightsaber arch during their introduction. She just got the cheap $5 ones because she knew eventually the kids were going to get a hold of them.
