I wanted to send regular paper invites but they are too expensive and I know a lot of them will end up in the trash so I thought of just getting some for the people that I know will for sure want them, like grandparents or family. And the rest of the invites just send them electronically. But I'm not sure if that's a good idea?

What do you think?

In addition to Kelsey's note, I'd recommend that you sign up "to receive special coupons". on the Shutterfly website You can get up to 50% off items. Keep it in mind for their photo books, too, for after the wedding. Have it ready to go and pull the trigger when they have a 50% off sale, or better yet, depending on the size of your book, free additional pages, which can save you a ton of money. I used them for my 'second' book which included mostly candids that guests gave us and a few pro photos that I didn't want to pay for the photographer to include in his book. We had access to all the photographer's photos online. Had I known how much fun it was to do my own album, and how much I saved, I would have done it entirely through Shutterfly. I would imagine that Snapfish and other companies have similar deals.
