Sent an email to our photographer two weeks ago and no response?

Hi everyone. So we’re 68 days out from our wedding day and I sent an email to our photographer as she assists her couples with timelines for photography. I sent her an email two weeks ago now and I haven’t received anything back, not even a “thanks for your message, I’ll get back to you when I can.” I feel bad and I understand she is busy, but it is causing this unnecessary anxiety in my life. Am I overreacting to this? I sent her a quick follow up email this morning just to make sure my first message didn’t wind up in her spam. I already paid her the full amount and just wish she could respond even if it’s not directly answering my questions. But maybe I just need to chill. What would you do?

She should definitely be getting back to you. Have you tried calling? If you don’t hear back via email by tomorrow, call and leave a voicemail and follow up with another email saying it’s important you check in.

Totally agree with this. Call. Text. Carrier pigeon. I’d try anything aside from another email. Something similar happened to me and the anxiety was outrageous, so I hope you get ahold of them soon.

It’s wedding season and photographers are incredibly busy right now. I would give her a few days or a week to get back to you and reach out again if she hasn’t contacted you by then. The timeline can still change 68 days out so finalizing it too early may not be very helpful.

I can't tell you how stressed I was.
We wound up calling her, and she checked and said she hadn't clicked the send button on the email response. She happily texted and emailed us afterwards.
Call, call, call. You will feel so much better.
