The best way to be unique is to be you.

Our ceremony was personalized, and our wedding was themed around our shared passions.

You can use everything from your invitations to your cake to your centerpieces to tailor your wedding.

What things do you enjoy? What does your hubby-to-be enjoy? What do you like to do together? How did you meet?

Sit down and think about some of these kinds of questions, and go from there.

One set of our friends met through World of Warcraft. So their reception tables were named after locations in the game. Another played Dungeons and Dragons together every week (and still do). Their centerpieces were vases full of D&D dice sets.

We're amateur astronomers and space enthusiasts, so we're going to use one of our space coffee table books as our guest book. Guests are going to be encouraged to pick any page they want to sign.

So far the only unique thing we are having is lawn games and a donut sundae bar instead of serving cake. My centerpieces are also DIY by me and my parents - unsure if there will be anything in the future! Do something that means a lot to you and is part of your love story and find a way to include it whether it be through your centerpiece, dessert, pictures or part of your outfit for the day!
