Sephora? Mac? Engagement Photos

I used Sephora and was really happy with how it all turned out

I used Sephora and loved it!

I didn’t use Sephora or MAC, but I went to Ulta and my HMUA killed it! Highly recommend it

My engagement photo shoot makeup was done at Ulta and if was a great experience. I loved the way it turned out and I got a lot of compliments.

I loved Sephora! It worked out because I needed most of makeup replaced and found some amazing lipstick I love because of it. People compliment my pictures and my makeup. Totally recommend!

I went to the Sephora counter and LOVED my makeup. My mom has gone to the Mac counter and had great experiences. This picture is about two years old but still.

Ive used MAC for several different events and always had a good experience.

I went to Sephora to get mine done and our shoot ended up getting rained out! I bought the products and did the makeup myself on the rescheduled day based on what the woman at Sephora taught me. Aside from an orange-y tint to the foundation and my inability to install false lashes, it worked out pretty well and I still use the products I bought regularly.

I definitely would be going to Sephora if our pictures were later in the day! But we’re doing morning engagement photos! So I hired a stylist from a local salon to come to my house in the am to do my hair and makeup!!

I had mine done at Sephora and they were great. Plus, if you spend $50... it’s free.

Sephora was hit or miss for me. I got my makeup done last year, and it was awful. I wiped it off the second I got home. I got my makeup done again last week (I had point perks), and the girl I had this passed time did a really good job. I loved the makeup she did on me.

I used Ulta because I wanted someone to do my hair too - I am incapable of doing anything myself! I think it was $100 with tip for both hair and makeup and had a great experience.

I'm not sure, but the one near me has a full salon in the back. They are more affordable than most salons in the area and it was easy to have everything done in one place.

If you went to Sephora, did you make an appointment or just walk in? I’m thinking about going there for my wedding make up.
