September 12th 2020 not postponed

Trisha, on July 6, 2020 at 10:16 AM Posted in North Carolina Planning 0 16
Hey beautifuls! As September is quickly getting here I'm getting a little anxious. We have a guest list of 120 people and we are in North Carolina about to go into phase 3 (hopefully). If all goes well we can still have a big wedding. However if we end up going backwards because of covid , we will end up doing a intimate ceremony and have a big party later.

Either way I'm just super happy I get to marry my best friend! How are all my September brides feeling?

Yay! September 26 in Va and we got the ok for 100 people. We had 150 but had to cut the list or move to next year and we weren’t doing that so 100 it is!

I am so excited for September 12th to get here and impatiently waiting on rsvps! For a while this spring I wasn’t sure we’d be able to have the wedding, but our event coordinator has been awesome. Our countdown started around 500, I can’t believe we’re under 70!
What do you have left to do? I feel like my list is actually starting to get longer, but my nightmares are telling me I’m stressing about not getting it all done!
Congratulations! Hoping for restrictions to be able to loosen safely by September!

I hear you, when my event coordinator told us no mingling during social hour, masks required outside on the patio, no dancing... I just shrugged. We are getting married this year!

September 12 bride here, going forward with 250 (we have a large venue in Ohio). Feeling the pressure to scramble and get things done since we’ve made the decision to move forward. We’re just about to order invites 😰

I'm not a September bride but I am also in NC and hope that we get to go into phase 3. If everyone does their part. I am getting married next March and its only 50 guests so hoping COVID doesn't affect it. Good luck to you on your wedding!

I’m sept here too! 100 guests willing to scale back but VA opened to 250 max and it’s outdoors and all the science says outdid is fine. So we’re moving ahead with it!
What are you most excited about??? Congrats my list is mainly my flower girls dresses and decor!!! I also LOVE the term covid bride lol it’s a way to smile and being joy amidst such chaos and sorrow Smiley smile

Is Ohio allowing a certain percentage of the seared capacity at venues or are all allowed to have 300?

I’m unsure. My venue is able to handle both, but I believe the limit is 300.
