My eyes bugged out of my head @Donna when I realized we are 2 1/2 months away LOL. Yea I am just going to maintain what I have, still look fabulous in my dress at whatever size I am and enjoy myself. Cheers to all of us letting the anxiety go about weight loss for that day!

Hey September wedding twin!! My next step in the planning process is choosing a wedding band to go with my engagement ring! My fiance and I live in different states so I am waiting until I see him next so we can pick ours out together. Have you and your fiance bought your wedding rings yet??

OMG! I just an email today from Kay's Jewelry that his ring came in today so I can pick it up. Not sure about my ring - that is his department LOL. Not sure where your ring came from but usually you can find a matching one. I like sets so I told him to get a set and for him to just pick out what he wanted and I would get it. He chose a Tungsten band.

Is anyone doing an unplugged wedding? It was mentioned to me that I should do an unplugged so people don't get in the way of the photographer and mess up shots. if you are, how are you managing the unplugged? I'm thinking with signage mostly. We are having about 50-60 people.

View Quoted Comment I am doing an unplugged ceremony not the whole wedding itself, so during the reception they can take photos with their phones and highly encouraged to post on social media. We are paying good money for a photographer and a videographer that I don’t want people to ruin my ceremony by taking photos. I am doing a sign near the ceremony area. I have provided an example of what we are doing. I don’t want people to take away my moment of taking a photo during the ceremony of my dress that’s my special moment I want it captured by a professional other than that I don’t mind photos

Great job Kimberly. There is a battle about offending people if we say they can't. I am in the same mindset as you Kimberly. Thankfully we are only talking about 50-60 people and I think will have signs as well during ceremony. People have done it many times and if they have an issue.. oh well. We also don't want people posting on social media until WE decide. This was really helpful.

9/18/21 is just under 2 months away now. I am so excited yet stressed at the same time. I am having issues with a vendors backing out and having to get a new one.

View Quoted Comment I feel the same. As much as I love my soon to be MIL, she posted photos of his cousins ceremony the day of the wedding. As much as I’m sure she did that for family purposes who did not go, I want her in that moment and not on her phone. I don’t mind people taking photos besides that. The ceremony is for us. Not for your personal social media game.

Hugs to you Tiffany. I had a venue back out last month!! I did a mad dash to find another and came out better than before. My loving advice is to trust that you will get the vendor that will offer more than the last. I wish you nothing but the best :-). I totally understand how you feel. Breathe!

View Quoted Comment I had the same issue, my hair and makeup girl was in the hospital and did not tell me about it till i blew up her phone to get her to answer me. She said she “should be okay in time of my wedding” that was not reassuring to me so I found someone new and the girl is fabulous. This is what I’ll look like the day of now! Which is a lot better then the first girl I had booked!
