September 2020 Brides

We will probably become a September bride. We are going to have to postpone from June till then. We are ordering the new invites now and once they come in we will be sending them out within a few weeks of postponing.

It took me 3 weeks to get my first set of invitations in the mail.


I'm not even worried about my new date, but I'm still hesitant about buying invitations. I figure that will go away once the world reopens and I become employed again.

We're having our reception in September in Sacramento and sending out invitations in May/June. Our STD's are being sent out this month.

We are sending invites out in June. I think by then things will be better. I think I will feel a lot better once business and restaurants begin to re-open. In June I'm guessing there might/could still be a limit on how many people can be in a place, but I'm choosing to look at the bright side because a lot of music fests and concerts have been re-scheduled to August/ September. Those will have a lot more people than my wedding ever would. So I think we will be fine to send invites when we planned.

Congrats on your engagement! I wouldn't worry too much about purchasing save-the-dates or invitations. With your wedding being in September, I think we will have a better idea (globally), of our would lives will look in the future in just a few weeks time.
