I have nothing left to actually do but book my make-up artist, get my hair and naild done, and show up. My venue is an all inclusive, so floral, cake, food, music, invitations/save the dates, dresses (yes I said two!), photography, etc. was included in my price of $4,000.

I am not September but I am the first day in October. Getting my invites together. Are you doin paper invites? If so have you sent them out?

I have to figure out if I'm DIYing some of the reception and ceremony decor because rental prices have been outrageous!! Other than that, buy the alcohol and come up with signature drinks and we're good!! September 16th cant come soon enough!!

I am pretty much done with everything. Waiting to mail out invitations (they are all sealed and stamped ready to go). Once it get closer I have to do the timeline, I do have a meeting with the band for music playlist, etc. I am just sitting back right now. I actually kind of wish I had more things to do but we have been planning this wedding for 3 years. CAN’T WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER!!!

Ive got some flowers to glue on my center pieces and candalabras (shouldnt take long just need to sit down and do it) and make the ring bearer pillow. Most of what I have left is little stuff that wont take long. All my vendors have been booked for months and all appointments are made (alterations hair and make up final tasting etc). All my invites are together and in envelopes and addressed all I have to do is add an extra stamp to each one. I took one to the post office and asked them to check and make sure they would mail alright and he said they weighed more than an ounce so I would need extra postage 🤷‍♀️ so 10 minutes to throw an extra stamp on each envelope and those are ready to go. Feeling pretty good at the moment.

Getting married September 10th, just will wait to finalize the seating chart once we get invites. How soon are people sending out their invites? We just need to do the photos, song list, and the gifts for guests at the hotel.

September 17 here! I have all the vendors booked, and am about to order invitations. 2 of 5 of my BMs have ordered their dresses, and I think the remaining 3 will order theirs in the next few weeks (plus one woman in FH's groom's party).

Also called a restaurant to book the rehearsal dinner, and they asked me to pick a few items from the menu to offer, so I'm working on that.

Struggling with what to get for bridesmaids gifts, too; trying to keep it in the $50 - $75 range.

Hello all, September 16 is my wedding date. I have the venue, photography, make up, hair booked. I just have to order the invitations, finalize the decorations. I have picked out my bridal party dresses just waiting to order them. Oh, gotta get my cake my original choice is closed. I feel like I'm missing something

OMG this happened to me as well - was it David's Bridal? I had to buy off the rack for a replacement at twice the original cost...then 2 weeks later DB called to tell me my dress came in after all and did I still want it? It's my dream dress so of course I said yes and now I have an expensive gown I have been trying to sell for 2 months.

9/9 bride here! Most details are done, just down to the fine tuning. Looking for affordable, unique ideas for seating chart/escort cards. Ours is an elegant yet whimsical woodsy setting with a touch of inner geek. Since it is outside, I'm reluctant to use anything too lightweight. And it's a destination wedding in Maine so I don't want it to be too bulky either. Any suggestions?
