Sequined dress

They tend to be super heavy and if the dress doesn't cover past cap sleeve length you get really bad scratches and it feels like rug burn for the next few days. While they look GORGEOUS in pictures they aren't super practical for dancing or moving really haha.

I tried one on and it was extremely heavy, it was beaded though not sequined. Sequin dresses are pretty light. I have worn a short sleeve knee length sequin dress to a wedding before and I wasn't too bothered by them on my upper arms, probably because my arms were always in the air toasting or dancing hahaha.

I have a sequined dress I wore for a night out once, the rash under my arms was horrible. Basically walked with my hands on my hips the whole night.

I have worn one as a BM. We had heard about the underarm irritation though, and made sure we found one with a mesh panel under the arms.

I broke out in hives from the one I wore in a wedding this summer but I have REALLY sensitive skin. It really depends on where you buy it from.

I tried one on and found it very itchy on my arms, BUT the one I tried on was very inexpensive from a rather cheap salon. If I was in love with the sequined look I'd try some higher-end ones and see if they were more comfortable.
