serious problem need help!!!!

My wedding venue called me 60 days prior to my wedding date to tell my my ceremony location inside their hotel is under construction because they are adding on to the hotel! Not once was I ever informed prior to signing my contract that my space would be altered or renovated. They claim this was not the plan and they were just informed a week ago however the date for them to be complete with renovations was 7 days before my wedding day but now they are 10 days behind on construction which is the only reason I think I found out about the renovation bc now my space won’t be available at all! Idk what to do! They only want to make this right and give us what we asked for if I choose to get married in the alternative space they have offered me. The alternative space I choose they claim is an issue bc there is another wedding in the next room and they are concerned about privacy but I don’t feel that is my issue. I’m not happy with the whole thing and have cried for two days as we choose this hotel for the ceremony and reception based on our original space they are now renovating. I feel we should get to choose our alternative space and get what we want based on their unprofessional character not only if we let them choose our ceremony space. We paid ALOT of money to this hotel . Someone please help!
