When FH and I first started dating, we were young. I was 15 and he was 16. Originally we planned on waiting until marriage, but after over four years of waiting and marriage not for a few more years that went out the window. We waited until our Junior year in college to have sex.

FH and I are intimate and have been for over a year. We are in no way closed off or prudish about our love life. We're open, happy and healthy in the bedroom

But, I ran into some personal issues and needed to see a doctor. It was at that point we decided to let the medicine do its work and to give me a month off to get healthy again. So we're a bit cranky and antsy because we've not really gotten it on in a month other than heavy petting.

I don't understand the restricting of sex before the wedding to make the wedding night more special. The weeks leading up to the wedding included a sharp increase in sex for us. We called it stress relief. And it helped. A lot.

I can honestly say we have not had sex, but we are not waiting until the wedding night. I didn't want to be pregnant in high school, plus teasing him and telling him no was fun. Now, I know if I did become pregnant that not only would he be there but we would be finanically prepared. I still want to wait for college to be over. I don't think I could dissect a pig and other thing while being pregnant. When he comes home it's going to be fun! lol

@Sara, You're right. Having sex does release a lot of stress and unwanted pressure. It just makes everything seem better and you're not all stressed out for that period of time! Not to mention the amazing feelings it brings.

We are def VERY open about sex... and Im pretty sure we could never cut each other off.. we like it wayyy too much and get kinda cranky if we dont get it!! lol

I did not want to wait till after marriage (because that was a few....years ago my virginity fell off...) simply because I NEEEEEEDED to know that the sex wasnt bad BEFORE we were married!!!!! I am sorry but bad sex doesnt change!!! and divorce is expensive ok sex can be improved...and sex toys are cheaper then divorce!!!

FH & I did wait almost 3 months to have sex though. Which was weird for me.

We didnt have sex til a month into dating, however I told FH on the 2nd date, I'm all for sex. I love sex & I'm not the type to wait til marriage, just waiting for love. I swear the man grew a boner right there just talking about it lol.

I have thought about having a month before wedding, where we dont have sex so maybe there's build up for the wedding night. But I've heard with all the stress, sexual tension just makes it worse. I've gone a week without, I'm not sure I can go a month lol
