Sex Break Before Wedding??

I have currently "cut" my fiance off before our wedding which is still 17 months away. I want it to be special again for our wedding!

I cut mine off too. But to be fair, we only have 53 days left. He can hold out that long.

17 months? Good grief...that's kind of silly in my opinion.

Holy crap 17 months ! We r just doing the month leading up to the wedding( which is Saturday thank god !)

I kinda made the decision for us, which he was ok with.. and we still do.play around just dont have sex..

Personally, we decided it mutually, random length of time. The mister works nights and plus we are super stressed out right now, so all of that helps. We dont have much time to do anything if we wanted to.

No break and 17 months is INSANE. For me, husband and wife sex will be special no matter what. Can't wait to have sex with my hubby!

I just don't understand the sex break... If you've already done it, why would you stop? Giving it up for such a long time would likely make the wedding night a bit disappointing for the bride (if you catch my drift).

17 months.... you go girl haha. I doubt we will break at all but if we do it will only be a few weeks MAX lol

I am not sure we would have taken said break had someone (not me!) not said something in one of our marriage prep sessions that DH took as a bit of a challenge... next thing I know, we're on a break. It may not sound like it (because I'd need to write a novel to explain), but it was a bit adorable (and frustrating!)

As for us, we did skip the night before our wedding. We had talked about taking a break, but then just laughed that off. It would have been a big let down for me and then I would have been angry with him. Not a great way to start a marriage!
