Shades of Green for fall wedding

on May 4, 2021 at 5:05 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
Hey everyone,
I am getting married in October 2022 and I’m stuck on colors, first I wanted mix and match of completely different colors and now I’m on this sage green kick lol. My fiancé does not enjoy this color so I’m wondering if there are some other fall colors that will match with that or any other greens ? Or is this not even a fall wedding color?

Green of any shade is a fall color. Browse Pinterest for color palettes and see what you agree on.

Green is quite literally always in season (think of evergreen trees). It can also function sort of a neutral background for other colors you want to add (again, think of nature; everything goes with green). As Michelle says, browse through some colors with your fiancé and see what you both like.

Green goes great with everything. Maybe think about what pop of color you or your fiancé would would like to see. Use that as inspiration for your florals, cake, bridal party, etc.

We’re doing gold, white, neutrals, and green.

We're using sage accents in our lavender wedding at a Botanical Garden! A friend of mine did emerald in the winter and it was GORGEOUS!

Here’s a pic of my idea for dresses! I love the sage green and a darker green. I couldn’t imagine all the colors together so I threw them into a google doc. I love the green colors!! Especially with accents of orange/rust/copper!

I agree green never goes out of season and adding in rust, terra cotta, cranberry, burgundy, wine, or similar shades will make it seem very fall.

Sage green is such a pretty color and I think it's versatile, you can certainly use it in the fall!! You can use a few dark colors to accent with it so it feels fall and appeases your finance too. Here's some ideas i found that I think would be beautiful!!
