Spanx

All I can find on Spanx is double gusset which just means its the hole. Even Spanx has bad reviews about that hole. Why has no one invented this yet!?

First off Beth that's a little harsh. Maybe she doesn't need to lose weight and just wants it for smoothing purposes, or just for security!

But @BoozyBaker have you tried looking at the different brands and different styles TJMaxx and Marshalls offer? I've gotten some good ones from there that aren't too bad to go to the bathroom with

I've been reading reviews and everyone says to just cut the hole bigger too, lol. I feel bad taking scissors to an $80 undergarment but if it works *shrug*.

I understand! At least cutting it wouldn't affect what it does, though. Hopefully somebody on here has a recommendation.

I don't wear shapewear (just have never spent the money for the good stuff haha) so I don't know but - is it really that difficult to take on and off? For my wedding, I took my sister (MOH) with me to the bathroom and she helped me step in and out of my dress (it had a hidden zipper closure) to pee. It wasn't that big of a deal and didn't take that long.

I think a long lines bra or a snap crotch shape wear should be suitable for you

Not sure but I had trouble looking for shape wear this weekend. It seemed the torsos would short and dragged my boobs down. I need something that will give me some lift.

Reviving this to say thanks to CO Bride! Something like that is exactly what I was looking for, shapes everything including legs and still has a flap for peeing lol. Thank you!!!

Oh I'm glad you saw it! I didn't want to end up with ads for lingerie on my work internet browser for nothing It looks a little complicated, but I concur that the "gusset" opening is just peeing all over your $80 spanx

Look up what they reccomend for people who have had surgery like liposuction. They have a lot of undergarments with snaps that you can choose from.
