Shawls, Rectangles or Triangles?

What shape do you prefer shawls to be to wrap around yourself, rectangles or triangles? I'm plotting out what shawls to get my bridesmaids that they will hopefully use again.

Personally, I prefer rectangle, because they then to be longer, which means I can wrap them around myself more. The triangle ones, at least for me, tend to just expose my arms/elbows when I try to pull them tight.

Plus I think there are more ways to wrap/tie/scarf with a rectangle.

Rectangle is more classic, triangle is more boho, IMO, so it kind of depends on your girls.

That's what I was thinking! I knit a triangle shawl for myself that is so pretty but the points drive me a little crazy too. So little of my arm is covered with them and I didn't know if it was just me or not!

My girls wore rectangle pashmina shawls. They were $10 on Etsy. They loved them!!
