@HikerBride - i couldn't find them online either - my mom said they were labeled "Metal garden shepherd hook" - so maybe it is in-store only?

@PurpleSun: Thanks for the name! I'm going to have my mom check in California since they do not have 99cent stores in my area. Are they real super sturdy?

Dang it I bought some for way too much but I needed them to have a stand.

@KK - the ones at dollar store arent as sturdy as the ones at the 99cent store i think, because the ones at the dollar store are multi-piece and flag stands, not real shepherd hooks.

@lov3 - yea - i refused to pay over $2 for each one, so that's why im so excited to find these ^_^

I'm using mine to hold lanterns with candles and the mason jars with flowers like in the picture so they need to be fairly sturdy cause the lanterns are metal so better safe then sorry

And I'm borrowing most of them from church friends and family... I just didnt have enough that we're all the same so I had to buy a couple

****OK, Here is what I found out from the Corporate Office of the 99centstore****

1. They only have locations in CA, NV, TX, and AZ

2. If you are in those areas, they can ship a box of 24 to any store location

3. You have to get a 2 box minimum if you chose this option

4. Or you can call the local stores to see if they have any open boxes

5. If you have the boxes sent to the store, it will remain in the box sealed, so if you want to ship it somewhere else. The weight of each box is 15.85 pounds.

6. The corporate office number is 323-980-8145 ext 9. The item number is 181225 for Metal Garden Shepherd Hook

7. The price is $.99 for each hook.

@PurpleSun: No, they don't. I just checked the price to ship it and for me, it will just be best that my mom picks them up tomorrow from the store by their house, and then when I fly out next month for my bridal shower, I will just bring them back with me on the plane.

Hey ladies! The ones that I got at my dollar tree yesterday are actual sheppards hooks they arent flag poles like the link above. Mine look just like any other sheppards hook and they are actually pretty sturdy. Not sure I would be able to hang a pail on mine but I could hang some lighter lanterns and decor. I did look online and they do not sale the sheppards hooks online only in the store. My store said they had just come in 2 days ago so dont give up hope ladies some stories probably havent got them yet. But maybe put in a call to your local store and give them your name and tell them as soon as they come in you want to be called.

Mine look exactly like the photo you posted above. So for the ladies that dont have a .99 cent store you can still check your local dollar tree! Good luck ladies!

LOL Meagan. . . I logged on to update the same thing!! I stopped in to a Dollar Tree while running errands today, and VIOLA! I got all 24 they had, and even told the lady at the check out that I would be letting my wedding forum know I found them!!!!

I also got the perfect totes for my gift bags. 20 there, and 19 at another location across town. Will probably need to hit one more, in the next town over, to get enough in the two colors I want.

Found small 19" hooks - I ordered 22 of them and they are perfect for the long entrance way to the ceremony site. They are plain metal so they do need to be spray painted black, or whatever color you want....But you can't beat $0.70!!!

Any chance that any of you new married brides still have your hooks and would like to resell them? I've had no luck tracking any down. I only need 12 or so.

No 99cent store this way but I don't mind if they aren't as sturdy nothing heavy will be on them...guess it's dollar tree for me
