Ship or Suitcase: Wedding Decor + Bag Items

Are you staying at a hotel that allows deliveries and will hold everything for you until you arrive? And how long will it take the packages to clear customs? I can see why it’d be more convenient to just ship everything there, but I wouldn’t send anything that you absolutely have to have just in case there’s a delay or something happens to it. Not that the airlines are good with luggage these days either, but you can also stick it in a suitcase with an AirTag so if the airline loses your bag you have a way to track it.

I would fly with it. You can bring a giant duffle bag that way it's easy to throw in your suitcase on the way home. Otherwise, consider buying items once you arrive there. It could be fun to have local gifts, and you could just bring whatever printed material with you when you travel.

I suggest packing and bringing it with you. It's possible for items to be held up in customs if you ship.
