What about a kitten heel? I personally think if I can't do a heel for whatever reason, that a pointed flat always looks a bit more fancy - what about something like this:

You are overthinking. Nobody will look at the bride's shoes regardless of the length of the dress.

I think tea length dresses look great with flats, personally, but I understand if that is not your taste. Would you consider some kind of platform sandal (no tilt front to back, just height)?

I love flats with a tea length dress. You could go with a short block heel, as they are more comfortable than stilettos.
