Hey guys! I’m having trouble choosing my shoes to wear on my wedding day. I want something comfortable, so I’m thinking about the cream glitter Kate Spade Keds. But, I’m worried they might be too informal. I don’t want heels, so preferable a wedge or flats. My dress is a cream color and is long so people most likely will not see my shoes at all. What do y’all think about the Keds? Or any other suggestions for another kind of shoe?

I think the Keds option is cute. They are special enough to not be tooooo informal. Plus they’re shoes. Times have changed and you can literally do anything when it comes to your shoes. I am doing a flat sandal because I want to be comfortable and heels are just not me. I want to be comfortable enough to party all night long.

I know Belk, Dillard’s, and Macy’s sells them (you can usually use a coupon at these places). That’s where I plan to get mine from. I’m trying to find them instore so I can try them on before buying, but I’m having no luck with that. I might just have to order online and return if they don’t fit.

I own a pair of Keds and they are not very comfortable. Maybe I got a pair of lemons, but I don’t like them. I got a pair of Ivory Glitter Toms and am super excited to be comfortable on my wedding day.

I looked online at Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Belk, and the Kate Spade website and didn’t find a wide width shoe anywhere. 😭

I wore lace Toms and didn’t regret it a second! I did have a beach wedding, so my husband wore his old sandals. Our ceremony was barefoot, so the overall vibe wasn’t too formal to begin with. But, unless you love heels, I vote comfort all the way. No matter what, I’d change for the reception!

I say go for whatever you feel most comfortable in! I bought a pair of heels for the ceremony and a pair of the white Kate Spade Keds for the reception.

We have the same dress! 😍

I have those glitter Keds and they are SO cute. I’m wearing heels for most of my wedding because I don’t want to hem the dress (because of the lace hem, most alterations people were charging $200+ just for the hem). I’ll put on my sparkly keds once I’m tired of wearing heels hopefully later in the evening when I don’t mind dragging my dress everywhere.

I wore the rose gold ones for my reception (wore sandals for the ceremony) and I am SO glad I did. They were so comfy and I wear them all the time now.
