Short bride!! Helpppp!

I went with an aline dress, mermaid dresses made me look even shorter lol im 4'9.

I would think a sheath, loose fit & flare, or A-line would look good. If a ballgown or A-line seems to swallow you up, you can remove a layer of crinoline or more.

I'm actually 5' as well and always thought I would have a form fitting mermaid style dress. Well, that was an epic fail I looked awful. A line, horrible. I landed on a ballgown with a sweetheart neckline which I actually like.

I'm 5'1. Usually sheath, mermaid/fit to flare are good options, but it also depends a lot on your body type. Here's mine. It's a fit and flare mermaidy silhouette. I also have pics of me in ballgowns, ALine, other fit and flare if you want to see. The one I posted is what I ended up with

5'2 and never wear heels. I went with a slim A line and loved it!

I’m 5’1” and here’s mine. i had to get it altered quite a bit but here’s the final result.

I initially bought a poofy A-line but exchanged it for a mermaid. I am 5'1 with a short torso AND I absolutely love being this height. So, looking short isn't an issue for me.
