I'm struggling with how clothes look on me in general. Wedding dress is no different. When I got married the first time, I weighed 100 pounds at 5'3" this was easy. Anything worked.
17 years later, I am between 165-170 (and still 5'3" haha). I'm 36D. I have hips. I also have a bit of a belly thanks to PCOS that I am rather self-conscious about. Don't get me wrong. I love my curves (other than the belly). I actually prefer myself now to when I was super thin.
I plan on going to try on dresses sometime soon when my friend and I can have the same schedule. For now...I am having fun looking online (and occasionally ordering and trying on and sending back). I have my eye on 2 online right now. One is on it's way here. The other will likely be on it's way here after I send the last failure back.
We're planning a 1920s theme wedding...so my dress does not have to be, and likely won't be traditional. I know most people go the traditional route and that's okay...I'd just love to see what you shorter, curvier girls are wearing on your wedding day. Please post pics!
This one is on it's way to me.
I am loving this one too.
I'm really liking this one online and it will be on it's way here when I send back the other one I didn't like.
Here is a pic from a girl in the reviews who says she's 5'3" and 220. She rocks it and I am hoping that means it will look great on me too!
This is a girl from the reviews of this dress who is short like me and weighs a significant bit more. She looks AMAZING in this dress, so it gives me hope.
