It's only 1 letter shorter, but SO much easier to spell. I always have to spell it out every freaking time letter by letter. But now it's a common and easily-spelled name, I'm so happy about it! But it's been 4 months and I still dont like how my new name sounds 🤷‍♀️

Mine is 2 letters longer now, but MUCH more common and easier to pronounce, so I love it.

Longer by two letters, but thankfully Brittain is still easy to pronounce. It will probably be misspelled a bit more often than Miller was though!

My last name will become longer and more difficult to pronounce. Going from 3 simple letters Guy to Van Devander.

I'm changing my name at the beginning of next year to my father's last name and after we get married FH will be hyphenating his last name. So my last name will be shorter and his will be longer.
