My fiance's last name is shorter than my maiden name by 2 letters and 2 syllables. I will be doing a hyphenated last name legally, but people will call me either Mrs married last name or Ms 1st letter of maiden name then married last name since my maiden name is 4 syllables!

My new name will be 2 letters shorter than my maiden now. I was thinking about hyphenating it because I had my name for so long but we shall see.
