Longer... going from 6 letters to 8. Not a huge change, but my first name already has 9 letters and my middle name has 8, so at this point I'm just accepting that my name always will be absurdly long hahaha.

On the bright side, even though my new last name will be longer, it is MUCH easier to spell so I'm looking forward to that.

Last name going from 5 letters to 7 but making my maiden name part of my middle name, so middle name goes from 4 to 9.

Begley to Cappuccio, it’s onlys only 3 letters longer but it feels more complicated when you have to spell it out plus people have a tendency to throw and n in there bc they are used to cappuccino.

1 letter longer (and just 1 syllable instead of 2). But my new last name is very German, so I'm resigning myself to a lifetime of it being misspelled or mispronounced! Smiley xd

My name is short and sweet right now--search me on the internet and you'll find at least 50 people with exactly the same name. My married name, Sarah O'Connor, will be a lot longer but I like it so much more!

Shorter but I'll have to always say with 2 p's (Trapp). Longer if I hyphenate.

Much shorter... I’m going from 2 last names currently to only one last name that’s 5 letters long. I love it! It’s less confusing in the USA too!
