It'll stay the same length and same first 2 letters. I'm thinking I'll have some trouble signing my new name because muscle memory will want to sign my maiden name.

I’m not changing my last name. I earned my degrees not my man!

Sweet and short, just like my maiden name. I’ll be Mrs. Garcia

If I change it, it’ll go from 7 letters to 5. Both easy to pronounce, but for some reason hard to spell. So I’d still be spelling it for people. I’m more concerned with making a decision about changing it or not than with how long it is. (I will not hyphenate, it’s all or nothing.)

Longer. I'm hyphenating so I will be adding 5 letters to my already 10 letter last name.
