Short Short Hair Brides!

This is expensive a lot of effort, but I have a "long" pixie cut. I got the fusion extensions about a month before my wedding and my stylist was able to do a low up-do with those, which was my dream from the start. I love my short hair, but my hair doesn't grow at all so I needed the extra help. I have a friend with very short hair as well, she had a stylist do pretty curls on the top/side and then her florist made her the most beautiful flower crown that she wore all night. It was gorgeous and matched her flowers and everything perfectly.

I had a chin length bob last year, so not quite as short... and I am cutting my hair again!! I am just gonna leave my hair down and maybe add some waves, and I want to get some big, sparky statement earrings. That will be the only jewelery (besides ring) that I wear. I think short hair is super chic, I would keep it pretty simple and add some sparkle, but that’s just my style. Maybe add some waves for some volume.

I know long hair is tradition, but I think that short-haired brides are just as beautiful. If you like your hair, don't worry about it. I recently cut off over 12" of hair and now have a lob. I always thought I'd have long hair on my wedding day, but I plan to put waves and some braids into my hair to give it a textured, boho effect. Ultimately, your hair is a reflection of your personality and trying to hide or change that to fit the stereotypical long-haired bridal look is unnecessary. I like what the other poster said about statement earrings with short waves--I think that'd be gorgeous!

I have actually let my hair "grow" out some, but I have always had a pixie cut. I want to cut my hair now before the wedding and I was wondering the same very thing!!!!

UGH!!! The most annoying question I've gotten during wedding planning, "Are you going to grow out your hair?" Ummm NO! I've had short hair for over 15 years now, I am not going to grow it out! Then they always follow up with "What about your pictures?" Ummm hello I want to look like me!!

I have a hair appointment in the next coming weeks and figured I would talk with my girl about her thoughts/idea, but I will be keeping the short hair (might not shave down to a 1, but who know's what I'll be feeling then). I want to wear a headband that ties in the back with a veil in the bottom/at my neck instead of on top of my head. I am thinking I might try and do some big loose curls in the top or something like this (which would require some growing)

I personal love my hair pushed back and out of my face with some volume on the top. I just feel like my face really shines and I can have fun with my make-up and earrings.
